2025年8月21日下午，万锦市市政中心议会厅成功举办了一场以“运动中的创新”（Innovation in Motion）为主题的青年创业与机器人颁奖典礼。本次活动旨在表彰在创业与机器人领域表现突出的本地青少年，并为他们提供更多展示与交流的机会。

活动于下午1点正式开始，嘉宾和参与者首先进行了签到与交流。随后典礼在欢迎辞中正式拉开帷幕，主办方代表Jenny校长发表了开幕讲话，介绍了万锦小企业中心（Markham Small Business Centre，简称MSBC）在支持青年创业方面所提供的资源与服务。
颁奖环节中，多位参与“夏季公司计划”（Summer Company Program）的青少年创业者获得了奖项肯定。随后，本地知名教育机构WizRobotics（为智机器人电脑编程教育）代表受邀发言，介绍了其在6-16岁青少年机器人编程教育、国际赛事培训以及STEM教育方面的贡献。

典礼还包括对万锦市本地机器人团队的表彰环节，最终在闭幕词后迎来了交流展示环节（Tradeshow & Showcase），参与者可现场体验机器人作品并与获奖团队互动。

Markham Youth Startups & Robotics Award Ceremony Successfully Held, Fostering Innovation and Growth Among Youth
On the afternoon of August 21, 2025, the Markham Civic Centre Council Chamber hosted the “Innovation in Motion” Youth Startups & Robotics Award Ceremony. The event aimed to recognize outstanding local youth in the fields of entrepreneurship and robotics, providing them with opportunities to showcase their talents and exchange ideas.
The ceremony officially began at 1:00 PM, starting with registration and networking among guests and participants. The event kicked off with a welcome address, followed by opening remarks from the organizers. A representative introduced the resources and services provided by the Markham Small Business Centre (MSBC) to support youth entrepreneurship.
During the awards segment, multiple young entrepreneurs who participated in the “Summer Company Program” were honored. Subsequently, a representative from the local renowned educational institution WizRobotics was invited to speak, highlighting its contributions to robotics and computer programming education for youth aged 6-16, international competition training, and STEM education.
The ceremony also included an awards segment for local Markham-based robotics teams. The event concluded with closing remarks, followed by a tradeshow and showcase where participants could experience robotics projects firsthand and interact with the winning teams.
This event not only provided a platform for young innovators to showcase their achievements but also further promoted exchange and development in technology and entrepreneurship among the youth of Markham.
