Esther Carenza still works around the clock to make children happy. Amazing events will be hosted by the Children’s Holiday Get Together and Other Events in 2021.

The Children’s Holiday Get Together and Other Events is celebrating its fifth year continues to grow, starting with 20 children in the first year and has continuously increased, representing gender, racial, ethnic and religious backgrounds and those from a low socioeconomic status. The children are not served by other groups.

Children have a great time. It is interesting to hear from the little ones on the need out there – “I tried really hard to make people believe that we needed help. I showed pictures that Esther Carenza and the Children’s Holiday Get Together and Other Events were buying expensive toys, hair shampoo, stickers and food and doing such events. I really wanted to do as much as I can to get people to help us.”

Besides the children, Esther Carenza is an angel for those in need. Esther Carenza did another rescue on the TTC, helping a homeless man who was semi-conscious. Without a mask, Esther Carenza was not afraid to approach and ensure that he would not die. Esther Carenza rallied the medical troops on the subway to assist her. Toronto Fire and the Toronto Transit Commission were grateful for her service to humanity.

The Children’s Holiday Get Together and Other Events emphasizes on making events tasteful with surprises. Expensive gifts, free glasses, pro bono dental work, a special lecture series, music, the production of a play, a dance lesson and performance are past events during the year, including the festive season.

Pro bono legal work, a large part of this group legal, medical and socio-psychological projects were done in Canada, United Nations Development Program, Regional Bureau of Africa, Private Sector in U.S. and Nigeria.

Esther Carenza also attends different racial, religious, and ethnic communities. Anti-bullying, anti-drug, anti-gang talks, human rights and other topics were previous functions.

Dr. Laurence Harris, York University professor from the psychology, kinesiology and health sciences and biology department and is the Director of the Centre for Vision Research will be conducting special lectures on outer space and the planets. Dr. Amy Botta, a postdoc in biochemistry and genetics, will prepare science experiments. Jessica Mannara, a Team Canada dancer and Director of the Faculty of D’Air Dance Collective, will dazzle the children with a dance performance this year followed by a competition for an expensive dance scholarship. Ella Farida, Peter Mathers and Ray Cheung and film and sound crews will entertain the children with music where the children get up in their homes and dance.

Children are experiencing mental health and eating disorders by the ramifications of COVID-19. Esther Carenza believes deeply and strongly that children live with joy in their hearts and achieve their dreams. The community praises Esther Carenza with her continuous drive, devotion and determination. Esther Carenza is unequivocally a mover and shaker.
